“The Smithville Inn was very clean. The room had a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower. It is up a flight of stairs and there is no elevation. the staff was very helpful. They picked me up at the airport and took me back the next day. There is a kitchen where you can cook food if you want and make coffee. “This was a unique stay in an old mansion, which was very well decorated. I loved the furniture!! Quiet neighborhood, and a friendly Siamese cat that demanded cuddles on the front porch, which I gladly gave. I was in town to visit my cousin who goes to Benedictine College, so didn't really do much in St. Joseph itself, except eat dinner at Boudreaux, which was tasty. ”
