“Sehr schön Unterkunft in mitten Swakopmund ”

“Hotel was up to standard of the company; however, the central area was not conducive to safe walking after dark. I was accosted by an unsuccessful 'Artful Dodger' during my 90 second walk from the only viable restaurant to the hotel. During the day such considerations were not apparent. The other Protea hotel on the lagoon would be preferable. ”

“We stayed here for three nights and loved it. It’s great location, walkable to everything Swakopmund has to offer. Staff was fantastic and so helpful is booking activities for us as well giving recommendations. The soundproofing in the rooms is not good, we could hear other guest etc. besides that, it was a great stay. ”

“This place is a beautiful oasis. The pictures reflect the beauty of the place, however there are many things that need to be upgraded. We chose the place for the pool for our son. It is the desert and we did not expect the pool to be filled with sand and really not swimmable-it was a disappointment. Our cottage had a problem with the water- the shower wouldn't turn off- this was our last night. We had to get maintenance to help. Thank God-we took our showers earlier that evening as t was……
