“The Lawford was a lovely place to stay in Malindi. The 3 bedroom villa and private pool were amazing. Large upstairs and downstairs lounge areas. Lots of space for everyone. There was a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, utensils etc. Service was great. Staff were delightful. Had fun with pool and table tennis. We would live there, if we could! Our neighbors were a bit loud but management tried to help with the situation. The beach is close but the water was brown and not “inviting.”……

“It wasn't as clean as i had expected. The room for two had not been prepared for two. We had to walk to the office in the morning asking for soaps and towels. ”

“Lamu House is a lovely historic hotel right on the harbor front - top floor bedrooms facing the water are the best with cooling breezes. The staff could not be friendlier and the restaurant is tasty and popular. If you want an authentic experience of Lamu the town, this is the place . It is not a luxury resort type establishment like the ones out of town. ”

“Large clesn rooms, smart tv with netflix , you tube etc. Fully equiped kitchen with microwave. Choice for breakfast. Qurt controlsnle A/C Frendly and helpful management and staff.”
