“What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. I wish we had booked more than one night so we could have taken advantage of the amenities, like the kayaking and boat tour. It rained the one night we were there, so we didn't get to do either. The room was absolutely incredible and very clean. It had a whirlpool tub, gas fireplace, and a view of the lake. “Four of us stayed at Almost Heaven for a weekend away. House was perfect for our needs. We ventured to Terra Alta to visit High Ground Brewery (definitely recommend). Will definitely consider returning for future weekends. Only suggestion? Listing where we could get fire wood. We asked three different stores (after each recommended the other) to no avail. No fire for us. ”

“We had a large group of family staying together and the size of this house with the number of bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect. They rooms were spread out also to give everyone some space which was great. The house was very clean upon arrival. We came in the winter and there is a lot to do near by which was nice. Would defeintly recommend!”

“We have stayed at Silver Tree and it’s absolutely wonderful! However on this visit, we booked with Expedia. We were not aware that the room we booked was 1 of 2 rooms not owned by Silver Tree. It was another 3rd party Vacation rental. So, beware, that if you book with Expedia, the hotel will not service or have anything to do with these rooms. It is all done through Taylor Made vacation’s. They only give you 1 key, no parking pass, and if you need any additional supplies for the room……

“If you want a real getaway weekend this is the place for you. You need to be prepared to travel on some backroads but once you get to Alpine Lake it is beautiful. The internet was out almost our entire weekend and I did report to the management three times without hearing back from them. The beds were very comfortable kitchen was stocked just okay in my opinion. We appreciated the cleanliness. The steps leading into the cabin are steep and it was pouring down rain when we got there so they are……
