“Great location for exploring Deep Creek and the surrounding areas! This rental was perfect for our family of 5 (with grown children in their 20s). Upper and lower bedrooms via spiral staircase may be difficult for people with mobilities or with really small children, but it was perfect for us. Walk to excellent pizza at Brenda’s and coffeeshop! Beautiful view of lake from deck with functional gas fire table to enjoy cool evenings. Eleni was very responsive and accommodating- great to work with!”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. “This was a very nice getaway. Home away from home. We were able to relax and enjoy each other without feeling like we were in someone else’s home. Shops were close by and the scenes were excellent.
