“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnolia is a beautiful well furnished home. We were lucky enough to have gotten lots of snow during our stay. It was so beautiful!! I would suggest additional heating on/in the main level bedrooms. There was a dramatic difference in that part of the house. Lots of "It's freezing back here" comments. space heaters would have been most welcome! We kept the thermostat at 70 lest the upstairs get too warm. I did report that there was leaking in the upstairs……

“We enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and we were definitely comfortable with six adults and three kids. The morning sunrises were beautiful over the lake. The property management was excellent. The only minor issue is the road traffic. It can get a bit loud but it’s not unbearable. You also need to be careful if you have a pet or kids when walking in the front of the house. ”

The home served us very well with wonderful bedrooms on each level, a well stocked kitchen (dishes, pots, cups, glasses, etc) a huge dining table where games were played, puzzles built and meals enjoyed. We all talked about how we would visit again at Buena Vista in a heart beat.”

“A huge thank you to Kasey and Lisa for allowing us to hold our intimate micro wedding of abt 30 people at their home. Everything turned out beautifully! We exchanged vows in front of the fireplace and enjoyed some finger foods after. The kids "wing" of the home (in and above the garage) provided ample entertainment for the children ages 4 to 16. “The Gathering Place was such a great property with suberb hosts. I was most impressed with communication from the owners and the tips and details they provided before our arrival. It helped so much with planning. We arrived to a help basket with some favorite treats like popcorn and hot cocoa which was a plesant surprise. The properyy is homey and modern.
