Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us. “The property had everything needed. Heat and air, washer dryer, dishwasher. The absolute most awesome thing is the view. This property actually has three porches. A sunroom with TV and seating, a screened-in porch which is lovely and has a table and chairs for dining, and the back porch/deck walkway. It has seating and a grill. The view from every window in the house is amazing! The house feels remote yet there are neighbors if there was an emergency. My only caution is when pulling into the……
