“The photos? Sure, they look decent — but they’re taken at just the right angles and just the right lighting to hide the reality. The place is dated, dark, and dingy. What you see online is NOT what you get in person. Upon arrival, we were never sent check-in instructions. We had to call and wait on hold for 20 minutes just to figure out how to get in — standing in the heat with our bags like lost tourists. Inside? A sauna. No air conditioning, no fans, no airflow whatsoever. It was like trying……

“The cabin is lovely! It’s close to the water which is very clean, sandy beach and sandy swim area. Floating devices supplied along with life vests. Even 4 kayaks! A large fire pit sits on the water’s edge, making the sunset views delightful! Did you forget something? Batteries, tape, highlighter for reading, fan, paper products, body wash, beach towels, games, spices, tools, flash light…no worries, the cabin was loaded with all essentials! “This house was perfect for us. So clean and welcoming! The products they had here were very nice as well! It was really nice that we were able to cook while being away for a weekend and not having to eat out all the time. They had everything there to use like a normal house. They even had games, toys, and some books for the littles. Very, very, clean and neat! If your wanting to stay in Wadena, we definitely recommend this place! ”

“Beautiful property, well cared for, clean and so comfortable. Plenty of room for us all (we had 6 people) Beds were amazingly comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were stocked and clean. We honestly had no issues. The host was easy to reach and quick to respond when we had a question, and Causeway amenities were all wonderful. We had a wonderful time.”
