“Room very clean. Neat older refurbished facility. Staff excellent. Had 3rd floor room …took the hot water a good while to reach the room…and drain was S-L-O-W…but just added to the nostalgia. Would stay again. ”

“The Gin Hotel is a beautifully refurbished "Grand" Hotel in a small Virginia town. Located on Main Street in downtown Lexington, it is two blocks from Washington and Lee University and five blocks from the Virginia Military Institute. Lexington's Main Street has been reinventing itself each year over the fifty-five years since I graduated from W&L and it is now populated with unique shops, craft stores and restaurants. “Cute place, very clean, excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. You should know the restaurant and bar is closed Monday and Tuesday aside from breakfast. Dinner options in the area are limited except for 5 mi south in nearby Hot Springs town and Omni Homestead Hotel restaurant which was fabulous. The inn is located across the street from famous historic bath houses. Very cool place. Extra points for heated bathroom floors.We would stay there again for sure!”
