“Loved staying at Spinneys, got to partake in the cedar sauna and staff was accommodating to an early check in. Next morning we were able to wake up and watch seals play in the water right out front, along with a beautiful sunrise. Will be back!”

“A gorgeous property with a lovely old-school resort feel. We thought we were stepping back through time in the main lodge. The setting is beautiful as well and offers plenty of nice walks around the shore and property. ”

“The walls in the Lodge were thin. I could others conversations. Would enjoy this place much more in summer with pool. ”

“The inn keepers were very very nice and accommodating. Nice old historic bed and breakfast right in downtown Boothbay. Everything about this stay was excellent. ”

“Last minute find for us to spend the night. The breakfast was wonderful. Beautiful view of the harbor. Enjoyed sitting in the chairs down on the dock in the morning.”

“The place was infested with bugs crawling on the walls and floors. The bedsheets had dead bugs on them when the top covers were removed. Bedsheets also had stains on them. There were no fans or a/c. We bought fans and left them there. The kitchen had some kind of fungus growing in it. All the ceilings had webs with spiders in it. Floors were not washed. All outdoor furniture were covered in mold. Would not recommend this place. ”

“The cottage is nice, and the owners have upgraded the patio furniture, the grill, etc. The location is fantastic, and the view is amazing. Less amazing is the spotty wireless (not enough to work on Zoom all day), and the rat that paid a visit in the bedroom on the last night. ”
