“Check in was a breeze as usual. The room we got smelled really bad when we walked in but narrowed that down to something in the garbage disposal in the sink. Turned it on and the smell was gone by the time we came back from dinner. That was the only bad thing we encountered. The hot tub was great, breakfast options were slim but good. All around a great stay as always. Still our favorite go-to hotel in this city. ”

“The room was nice. Full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, silverware, etc. The concrete floor was a nice touch considering we had our dog, it took out worry of shedding. The balcony was a bit of a let down though as it faced directly into the parking garage and didn't provide much of a view. It also had some cigarette butts on it. But if I ever go back to Iowa City, I'll probably stay at the hotelVetro again. ”

“The hotel was recently built (less than 5 years) and things are pretty new. It’s about 10 minutes driving distance from downtown Iowa City. There are shopping mall and tons of restaurants near the hotel. Staff are very friendly.”
