“This hotel was very nice and clean. It has a gothic vibe which we loved! So different from the Hilton and Holiday Inn hotels! We were on the top floor and it was very quiet. I did not see an elevator so if you have mobility issues this needs to be considered and inquired with the staff in advance. It was located some 500m from downtown so it was a nice walk without being disruptive and far enough to not hear the noise at night. There is no on site parking but a reserved parking 2 blocks down,……

“Small room but the design is fantastic with old English taste. Gary is the manager who is really nice and helpful. The breakfast is a must-try item, freshly made with re-filling coffee. ”

“Front desk staff were great ~ even shared a good laugh about an inside joke. The room was lovely ~ clean and fresh. I especially enjoyed the AC which was running when I entered the room .. I greatly appreciated that as it was the middle of August and a dreadfully hot and humid weekend, nearing 40 degrees. My waterfront view was perfect ~ overlooked the lake, docks and pool. I only wish I had booked more time for dining, lazing around the pool going out on the lake... oh well next time as I would……
