“Beautiful hotel. Front desk very accommodating. Room clean and comfortable. Hospitality was lacking: The lobby is beautiful, but is cold and uninviting. A pot of coffee or fresh water in the lobby would make guests feel a bit more welcome. I was told that there is a coffee maker in my room. Breakfast - coffee again. “Awesome, relaxing staycation! From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be a memorable stay as the Owners (Oscar & Stephen) was there to greet us, gave a tour of this castle/mantion. “It's lovely inn but lacks real locks on the doors to the suite. I did not feel safe. There's not very much parking. The owners are quite lovely. I did feel a bit awkward when the owner insisted on prayer before the breakfast. I am not of the same faith as Brenda but felt the praying was mandatory. The food was great and the grounds are lovely. The location is a little more rustic than I expected. Overall, it's a nice place if you are a conservative Christian. ”

The decor included religious pamphlets on each nightstand which added an interesting touch. The sleeping arrangements were fairly comfortable with the mattresses placed directly on the floor.
