“Stay in the main hotel for charm- the ventilation is not so good and there are no appliances in the room, as it is on the National Historical Registration. Outdoor pool is hard to access. Be sure to go to Stickneys for a meal and do the complimentary guided hotel tour!”

“There’s no room service available at the Inn so after 4 days the trash was overflowing. We also ran out of toilet paper. Also, breakfast used to be so much better. They reduced the offerings of the continental breakfast and started offering items a la carte which is all fine but for the price, I’d expect at least some basic bread and butter at the buffet. It was a bit disappointing this time.”

“Kudos to Rabbit Hill for their outstanding staff. The inn managers, servers and bartenders are exceptional and made us feel very welcome. Housekeeping did a fabulous job with the room. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, kid free, pet free, clean and charming inn. We were there off-season, and we loved it. “We were upgraded to the Breton Arms property, which is much nicer than the Lodge. Still way behind the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Dining is very difficult. Reservations need to be made waaay in advance. And there isn’t anywhere else to eat. We had to buy a pizza 30 miles away and take it back to our room, so we could eat at a normal time. ”

“This is a comfy house, very quiet area . Typical rural Vermont house on the new side. Unlike many similar houses i really appreciate the provision of staples for the kitchen, annoying to have to get this for a short trip but this property was well stocked with spices, utensils tea and coffee etc . The owners have been reasonable on this point. Reasonably priced property suitable for a small family. Located about 10 minutes east of St Johnsbury. A couple of nice farm stands nearby.”
