“The room was badly soundproofed, noisy and the staff had a bad attitude”

“The staff at the Desoto were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom could use a little attention. Sink was cracked. The hotel was very nice overall and very clean.”

“I really enjoyed this hotel, the pool was nice and fun , the beach was perfect very private feeling . Only downside there was construction, but I didn’t hear it from my room ; so it wasn’t horrible ”

“Not so crazy about all the dogs on the property. Also, at the weekly breakfast the staff seemed annoyed if we weren’t engaging in chitchat. They seems bored and wanted to talk to someone? Wish they knew when it is appropriate. Mother’sDay brunch was amazing!!! The staff and buffet were the best!!! It should be featured in a magazine.”

“Beautiful rooms, incredible bed and pillows and water pressure in the shower was unbelievable!! Good lighting with dimmers in the bathroom, lots of room, great coffee machine and coffee in the room, with real half and half. Fabulous rooftop restaurant and bar. Had a wonderful, unusual breakfast up there, much more special than your standard Southern breakfast fare. Couldn't try the raved about restaurant or bar downstairs as closed on Monday but will definitely be back! Slightly away from busy……
