“Everything is great except for the "banging" noise from the windows because of the windy night. The shutter of the window is not well fitted. ”

“Very nicely situated accommodation. We stayed in the “Garden Lodge” which was nicely decorated. Staff at the lobby was excellent and very helpful. The staff in the dining area was even to European standards somewhat tardy (e.g. 20 Mins wait for coffee at breakfast, 50 minutes wait between two course meal). The overall experience was very positive. ”

Lorna saved me from another transportation oversight I made, connecting me with a taxi driver that kept me on schedule. Without them my whole trip to Islay would have been a disaster, but instead, it was wonderful! Oh, and the hostel is lovely, clean, informative, and peaceful. ”
