“Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful food. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats with Theo and Grant. Our booked Meerkat experience was cancelled due to heavy rain but Theo offered to rearrange that for the following morning - and we are so glad not to have missed that! “Amazing hospitality from Melani! Perfect escape for relaxation and getting in touch with nature. Our rooms were modern and well equipped with stunning views of the mountains. “What a great little Guest House. Upon arrival we were greeted joyfully by the owner who walked us through and showed us around, she could not have been more kind and generous. Our room was perfect and sadly it was only for a one night stay. “We loved our stay at Doorn Kraal. Firstly the staff are lovely and so professional. Our room (the 2 bedroom cottage) was super neat and tidy, and it had everything we needed and it was very quiet as it’s a bit further away. Just be mindful at night, there may be one or two spiders in the trees when you walk to the cottage (have a flashlight). The food was soo delicious, we could not stop thinking about the wonderful dinner. We will stay again. Thanks to all the staff! ”
