“Wonderful stay at OBLU adults only. The picked us up from the airport and 25mins later we were welcomed by the staff at the pier of the hotel. Staff is very helpful and kind, food and drinks are great - especially at Only Blu restaurant underwater. Spa is also a great aspect of the resort, and make sure to book the sunset cruise with them! Would definitely recommend to anyone going to the Maldives ”

Not Good: Wait for 1.5 hours for speed boat transfer ( already confirmed by email with hotel pick-up 10:00 but finally 11:30 ); hot water in some rooms are not ”

“Très bel hôtel. La décoration est charmante. La chambre est plutôt spacieuse. Le personnel est bienveillant et répond à nos attentes. Je regrette que les portes des chambres fassent autant de bruit Le petit déjeuner est excellent et copieux. De nombreuses solutions sont disponibles pour la restauration (le groupe possède 2 hôtels, plusieurs restaurants et bar, un club de plongé (Margaux, une française, est adorable et de bon conseil) et une pâtisserie. “The guest house zone is simple and basic. Great garden and newly built roof top with the restaurant. People were really pleasant. Hardy - is the best host, took me on a ride to show the island when I first arrived! I enjoyed conversations with him. Food was great and not expensive at the restaurant. Thank you!”

“We loved this guesthouse. Staff are all pleasant and helpful. Only 9 rooms so perfect for a small and calm Getaway on a local Maldivian island. Marlen was helpful and pleasant with great communication before hand about speedboats. Pick up and drop off to the speedboat were seamless. We appreciated being asked if we wanted the room to be cleaned each day as more often than not we were ok. The location is what is stand out for this hotel. As far as I can gather not many have a private beach that……

“It was all very good until check out as I was being accused taking their laundry bag. After few discussions they agreed not to charge the cost of laundry bag. However it already left a bad taste in my mouth so I took one star off. The location was very good being close to the bikini but it’s under construction while I was there. It made the water so murky that it wasn’t very inviting as well as the noise of the trucks killed the peace & quite. I’m sure in a year the beach will be nice again.……
