“Beautiful property. Loved the facilities. Wish there was an “adult only” time for use of pool/hot tub. Went down to relax at pool/hot tub at 10:00 at night and it was filled with children. Walking distance to tons of stuff. Wish we didn’t have to valet. Room had a hard time keeping up with the heat. Was hot even with AC turned low ”

“We stayed on the 3rd floor beach side with a balcony. Our room had just been renovated. The service was great. The hotel and bar did a great job. We ordered the shrimp cocktail and the shrimp basket. The shrimp was very fresh and the fries were really good. Will definitely stay there again. Other reviews stated they were charged extra for things, but we did not run into that at all and our parking was free.”

“The George Manor is a gem tucked away in the Strand area of Galveston. We stayed one night in the Kaiserhof Suite & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Christopher & Valerie welcomed us promptly upon our arrival. Very comfortable accommodations, save the regulator on the shower which made it too hot/cold. The English style breakfast was delicious & we enjoyed some after breakfast coffee outside on the porch in fantastic weather. Michael & Josie were so hospitable & gave us a tour after preparing……

“This was a real find in a convenient area for my family's visit to the Houston area. It was a short walk to the NASA Space Center, and there are many good, affordable eateries and coffee shops nearby. The unit was a 2 BR, 2 bath condo in a fairly new complex, perfect for a family traveling with teenagers. The dryer in the unit had some settings that didn't work, but otherwise no complaints.”
