“The property was up 4 flights of stairs, had zero air-conditioning or fans, wasn't properly stocked (no toilet paper or paper towels), missing kitchen tools (spatula, peeler, blunt knives, and not even a cutting board), only one bed out of 3 had a proper mattress, smelled of cigarettes, and no details on oven, stove top, washer, or tv. We cook so seeing no spices was disappointing, street sounds constant due to open windows (it was stuffy and hot), rats behind building due to overflow rubbish……

We were surprised to find the host had even provided some essentials, such as Welsh cakes, milk, eggs, and brew making items. The house was not big but homely and very well set out. The stairs would be a struggle for some and the shower was quite small, although there was lots of hot water and the pressure……
