“Everything was great. Kids had a great time. A little interesting of a drive to get too ( our GPS ) was spot on. Inside was very clean and ready for us. Outside garden and yard just needed a quick pruning and trimming. Grass and bushes had overgrown blocking the creek and some of the seating areas, but still very nice. We missed the mentioning of a charcoal grill instead of a gas grill, no big deal. Overall really nice! Only complaint was people tend to walk through the back yard to fish, tube,……

“Love the location. The house was pretty nice, the cabin was well equipped and furniture was comfortable. Was disappointed that the TV was not a smart TV. Couldn’t log into my accounts to watch football etc. nice 2 person tub but the hot water heater isn’t big enough to fill it. There a wood burning stove and that was nice but there is no fire pit outside. It’s prohibited. The back porch is nice with plenty of sitting. Outside lights by the garage were not on and couldn’t find a switch so coming……

“The cabin was amazingly tiny but cousy, perfect for a first time vacation experience. We love it. They have everything you need inside and outside. The rooms where perfectly accommodating , the only thing is that I suggest to place a courting on the second floor windows it’s amazing to see the sunrise for a day or two but after you just want to sleep for a little bit longer. Also, it was really hard to sleep good and relax since they are some dogs on a house down the hill that do not stop……

“Ross and Laurel’s cottage is folded into beautiful, steep, wooded terrain. Windows in DR and LR receive late afternoon sunlight and gorgeous sunsets. The soothing sound of the stream is heard from decks and through open windows. Through the trees, past the creek -- a horse, a few goats, and some donkeys graze on steep green pastures. Deer also frequent the area and we spotted wild turkey on a drive. As much as the surrounding area calls out to be explored (and deserves to be explored), we found……

“We rented this property last week and have no regrets. The house was spacious, clean, and located just a short distance from downtown Blue Ridge and McCaysville. The property is not located in a neighborhood with amenities as advertised, but is in a gated community. That was not an issue for our family, but could be for others.
