“This is an amazing place if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of regular hotels. Please note that there is no TV in the room which was exactly what I wanted. This is a wellness retreat hotel that offers two classes, a day included in the price of the booking . They range from ukulele lesson, to hula dances, yoga, and chi gong lessons. “I recently stayed at Bamboo Valley Inn, and while I had high hopes based on its charming description, my experience fell short in several areas. First, I was disappointed to find that the claim of “breakfast included” was misleading. Upon arrival, I learned that no breakfast was provided, which was a significant letdown, especially since I had planned my mornings around enjoying a meal at the inn. “We feel really lucky to have found this location in Upcountry Kula. The lanais provided excellent viewing of both Haleakala and the West Maui mountains. Cool nights and ease of access to all of the surrounding towns and sightseeing opportunities made this a most enjoyable visit for us. To top it off, Steve and Diane were the most wonderful hosts as well as a wealth of information for all things Maui. We would absolutely stay with them again given the opportunity.”
