“We loved the cabin and the general cleanliness. I sent photos of the damage to the entry and received no response at all. One of the front porch lights was not working. The dishwasher was full of dishes and there was no coffee creamer provided. All minor things and we are looking forward to our next stay.”

“I had an opportunity to come to Lake Russell for a fishing tournament and a well needed vacation and needed a place to stay and found "The Shack". My whole experience was wonderful. From booking, to communication with the owner and everything in between was excellent. This place looks to be newly built. Super clean, modern yet woodsy, and has everything you really need to get by for a fisherman's stay wrapped up in a small package! A perfect place for 1 to 3 people. Shower, heat, a/c,……

“I love staying by the water and well this is most certainly by the water. Just a few stairs and you are on the dock. The house itself is so cute nothing large, but certainly something I personally could live in. Our contact was amazing and very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. We had that and more! We have been looking for a new travel destination and most have come short. This place has not only met our needs/wants it has well exceeded them. We have found our new home……
