“Just as advertised, clean and tidy”

“We were in town for a game at Clemson & wanted a retreat for a weekend getaway and this place was perfect! The home was on the lake and very cozy. I loved the pieces the owners have in there-it’s interesting to see unique pieces of art & antique pieces. I would definitely recommend this gem! In the summer we hope to go back & rent a boat Owners answered all questions timely & left a book with restaurants & things to do. Price was super reasonable. Thank you for a little piece of Heaven”

“It was so cozy and quiet in an amazing location! Everything was very convenient with downtown not being far at all. Given fire wood and muffins and eggs was a kind gesture and so yummy! Love everything about it will be suggesting to friends 10/10 will come stay again!! ”

“We had a wonderful stay. If you were traveling with different age groups, there’s several different levels for people to hang. The hill to the dock is a killer, going down it’s pretty steep , especially if you have any conditions. Didn’t use the water much but we did go for a nice swim once. Waking back up I had to take several breaks. And I feel as if I’m in decent shape for mid 50’s and not overweight.. something to consider if you plan on using the water. Loves the karaoke machine. We had fun……

“I had an opportunity to come to Lake Russell for a fishing tournament and a well needed vacation and needed a place to stay and found "The Shack". My whole experience was wonderful. From booking, to communication with the owner and everything in between was excellent. This place looks to be newly built. Super clean, modern yet woodsy, and has everything you really need to get by for a fisherman's stay wrapped up in a small package! A perfect place for 1 to 3 people. Shower, heat, a/c,……

“I love staying by the water and well this is most certainly by the water. Just a few stairs and you are on the dock. The house itself is so cute nothing large, but certainly something I personally could live in. Our contact was amazing and very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed. We had that and more! We have been looking for a new travel destination and most have come short. This place has not only met our needs/wants it has well exceeded them. We have found our new home……

“Besides a few things left for us to throw away, the overall cleanliness was good. It wasn’t until we stripped the beds that I was not happy with what I was sleeping on. There was an old foam pad that was all cut up and food on top of it. Not very good for guest to find when they are stripping their own bed. There were plenty of towels and washcloths. That was great. GPS took us through a hunt club off SC11. This included a creek to cross. You might want to note that on your site for future……
