“Beautiful property and amazing staff. The weather was a bit rainy but it was still very beautiful and the indoor pool was amazing. You do need to wear a swim cap for the indoor pool though. Good breakfast as well”

“Property was beautiful with amazing views. We had the room with king bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the mornings which was eggs, pastries and fruit - all very tasty and fresh. Marta the host was accommodating and very friendly. They also have a pool which unfortunately we not able to enjoy as it was cool. ”

“Great place to stay! Starting from the staff that were really nice and welcoming. Perfect size room with small kitchen, and balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of Douro River. Breakfast is delicious and served in your room. I highly recommend to stay at Portovella Lodges and Bungalows when visiting this part of Douro Valley!”

“Unbelievable!! Honestly one of my favorite experiences not just on this trip but ever. We had a beautiful view from our room and a private deck which was nice but all the shared areas were equally beautiful with stunning views.
