“Even though from the outside, the building looks a bit rough, it is really nice inside! Would book myself again into The Royal without any hesitation should the need arise. Very good quality breakfast, nice rooms. Recommended!”

“The first room assigned to me is of no air condtioning, which is excessively hot in day time. Upon request, the hotel change one with air conditioning, but at a lower floor with internal view on the reception hall. The room decoration is of simple type and acceptable. But a number of room facilities like door lock, light bulbs need repair.”

“The location is impeccable but being in the city centre it can be quite noisy at night because of all the bars & clubs downstairs. The triple room is on the 4th floor so noise wise it's tolerable for just one night but be prepared to lift your luggages up the 100-step stairs. The room is better than expected, really clean & tidy. One down side is this hotel doesn't have its own reception so have to check in at the hotel across the road instead.”
