“Property is great for a reasonably-priced, clean, safe, nice place to lay your head on a long trip. Would like recycling receptacles so one can keep environmental impact to a minimum while traveling. Glad they had the pump shampoo in the shower to cut down on plastic.”

“The location and the price made it great. The furnishings and bedding need to be replaced, and the white painted woodwork needs to be cleaned with bleach, but nothing was unacceptable. The front desk clerk was a very friendly guy!”

“Our room was very pleasant the bed s very comfortable. Pillows I like what she's rare. I thought they were lacking in the smaller type of amenities like normally when we stay at Hampton they always give us complimentary Waters pretty sure I'm a Hilton's reward member but I didn't see any offers like that. Our sink was running really slow in the bathroom. Which I meant to tell it the front desk and I forgot. But everything was great. When you walked in and had a nice clean refreshing smell”

“As a first time bnb guest, I loved it. James and Connie were very welcoming and made for great conversation during breakfast with the other guests. So much history in the house and area. We spent most of our time in Abingdon - antiquing, dining, and the barter theater. Apparently there's much to discover in Damascus for next time though! We valued the private bathroom in the honeymoon suite, but FYI does not have a shower just a tub, but there was a public shower down the hall. Thanks guys……

“We called to let them know we'd be arriving after 9:00 p.m., which they said was fine, but the kitchen stopped taking orders at 9:00. The front desk offered to take our order and put it in for us. The timing was perfect, and we had hot, fresh food shortly after we arrived. The breakfast buffet was very good, with the blueberry muffins the hit of the party. We had a little dog that they were very kind to.”
