“We called to let them know we'd be arriving after 9:00 p.m., which they said was fine, but the kitchen stopped taking orders at 9:00. The front desk offered to take our order and put it in for us. The timing was perfect, and we had hot, fresh food shortly after we arrived. The breakfast buffet was very good, with the blueberry muffins the hit of the party. We had a little dog that they were very kind to.”

“As a first time bnb guest, I loved it. James and Connie were very welcoming and made for great conversation during breakfast with the other guests. So much history in the house and area. We spent most of our time in Abingdon - antiquing, dining, and the barter theater. Apparently there's much to discover in Damascus for next time though! We valued the private bathroom in the honeymoon suite, but FYI does not have a shower just a tub, but there was a public shower down the hall. Thanks guys……

“The location and the price made it great. The furnishings and bedding need to be replaced, and the white painted woodwork needs to be cleaned with bleach, but nothing was unacceptable. The front desk clerk was a very friendly guy!”
