“Overall the stay was wonderful. Laundry was left in front of the washing machine, remote never worked for the main TV even after being serviced, and plugs/main light was not working in the master bedroom which made a c-pap machine difficult. You can download the Vizio remote app on your phone to work the TV if needed. I also recommend bring beach towels as there were 2 in the house. Step to the pool needs to be made more prominent/different color from deck. Had 2 people in our party fall. ……

“When a group a family who isn’t related but is more like family than actual family needs to get together for a long weekend, this is the place to stay. We had multiple families stay here, we organized meals to split between all the families, and we had plenty enough room for all of us. The detached cottage was adorable. Just wish it had a bathroom, but wasn’t a dealbreaker. The game room was a huge hit and lots of time spent in there. The pool doesn’t get much sun, so we didn’t get to use it as……

“Nice rental - hence the 4 stars. Not 5 stars but not 3 if that makes sense. Everything was provided except there should be more towels. Only washcloths provided were the 2 make up towels on vanity. The entryway should have been swept clean as it is the first impression. Back yard needed mowing when we arrived and was taken care of very early next morning. The third bedroom was pictured as having two separate beds and when we arrived it was a child trundle bed. Our young girls did not enjoy the……

“We stayed 2-nights in this cute home. VRBO didn't send us check in directions, but Justin was quick to respond and sent us the needed info right away. Our two teenage kids loved having their own rooms on vacation. The road alongside this home can be a little busy/loud but otherwise it was nice and cozy!”

The house is in a great neighborhood for taking walks and is just a short drive to restaurants, stores, etc. We spent time in Mandeville, Slidell and New Orleans and each day, we were thankful to get back to the house to relax and unwind.”

“Great scenic location on Lake Pontchartrain, Slidell was a pleasant surprise to us out of towners, would have considered spending more time in town of we didn’t have such a packed weekend. Not too bad of a drive into New Orleans, but if using ride/share car service just know to look ahead at pricing and budget accordingly.Very spacious, great kitchen amenities and a nice pool. Sleeps 22 but do take note there are 12 beds. Bring your own soap to shower but over all very nice place and good……
