“Rental had a great location, was clean and well equipped. Owner was quick with communication and friendly. The only con we had on our trip was it is an apartment so if you do not have considerate people staying above you, it makes for some frustrating moments. Even with earplugs and sound machines on we could hear the thudding from the above neighbors and from the beach access gate slamming. So just something to think about if you’re a light sleeper. But other than that, had a wonderful weeks……

“This cabin provided us the perfect getaway. We wanted a weekend in the moutains with nothing but family time on the agenda, and this cabin was the perfect fit for us. Took our two littles (1.5 year old and 2 month old) and throughly enjoyed holding my babies during naps on the porch. Toddler ran around the porch, inside through the house and back out again pretty much the entire time. Loved the rocking chairs, cozy blankets, board games, and the fact it had everything to make it feel like home……

“This is a great place to stay! It's a cute tiny home in the middle of the woods with a river and wildlife. The only downside for me was the chairs in the 'living room'. I'm short and the head rest was above my head making them uncomfortable. However, I would definitely stay here again. A note to others that stay: there is a tiny dimmer for the lights on the side of the switch. ”

“The cabin was amazing. It is definitely off the beaten path, but if you are looking for a quiet peaceful stay this is the place. The views are spectacular and the weather really showed off the mountains. The cabin itself is clean, well stocked and charming. We played foosball and PacMan in the game room. We had s’mores and sat by the fire pit and grilled burgers one night. We took a day trip into West Jefferson (I lived there when I was younger) It has definitely turned into a tourist town, but……
