“The host canceled our stay on the same day of arrival due to plumbing issues. I was just a little disturbed with still being charged a large amount. “The rental was in a beautiful, idyllic garden that won over our hearts from the very beginning. The stay was comfortable and the croissants we were gifted upon arrival were delicious! Smoke-free facility so that was a huge plus! Oh and the adorable basset hound, Malabar (sp?) was an absolute delight! Wonderful hosts in a wonderful city!”

“I chose Sierra Madre cottage as it was close to my daughter’s home. I was greeted by Tom (along with lovely fresh baked goodies from a local bakery). The cottage had everything I need (especially air conditioning as I’m not used to the scorching California sun). The pool was definitely an added bonus.
