“What a lovely place! Great hosts, too. Secluded… we didn’t see another person for 2 days straight. Lots of really great hospitality touches along the way, from snacks to firewood to a welcoming sign board customized to our trip. Here are some helpful things to know when booking (because I looked at a ton of reviews to figure out the info):1. There is a gas grill and a table top black stone outside. Kitchenette has a freezer/fridge and a microwave. No oven or stove. Plan accordingly.2. Kuerig……

“This is a very charming house. It had everything we needed plus a few extra considerate touches like recommendations for area businesses and some goodies from the nearby store. Loved it!”

“Quaint little house. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Had a little musty smell. We opened the windows to let it air out but a small dehumidifier would help eliminate this issue. Just a few minutes from River Greens Golf Course. Walking distance to Rainbow Hills which is a nice little restaurant and brewery/winery. Short drive to Historic Roscoe Village which has lots of little shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Would stay here again. ”

“My husband and I chose to stay at Valley View last year in order to be close to Cambridge to attend the Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival. It was not a hard decision to stay at Valley View again this year for the festival. This cute, comfy cabin has all we could want, and our hostess was communicative and gracious! We hope to come back a third time!”

“I was in Ohio for a family reunion. The puppy could not stay at the lodge at Salt Fork, so I decided to stay at the cabin. I am easily overwhelmed by people and family is not excluded! Retreating to the cabin allowed me the serenity I needed.My only dislike were the unpaved roads. My car sits very low to the ground and the gravel did a number under my car. ”
