“A spacious house in a good location, 30 minutes from trailheads in Keene valley and 10 minutes from shops in Schroon. Paradox Lake is great for swimming, kayaking, and fishing; lots of wildlife--loons, heron, beaver, deer, heron, and even an eagle sighting. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi (even by the beach). Host was very responsive. Only significant negatives were the lack of an outdoor shower or hose to clean off sandy children and no lake-side access to the house.”

Very happy with this rental and a great place to relax after long days of hiking, which were all within close proximity to the house. There is a close town nearby with a grocery store and gas station, to pick up your s'mores supplies before heading home to relax by the fire and listen to the river.”
