“It was the perfect size for the four of us to have a couple days away together. My teenagers thought the bunk beds were very comfortable and they appreciated the reading lights and plugs next to their beds!”

“This VRBO rental was really nice and clean, every bedroom was made up really neat and with updated decorations and amenities. The family room was easy to entertainment small children and very cozy when you turned the fireplace on. It was a short 3 min drive to downtown Duluth/Canal Park area for going out to eat and entertainment at night. The only thing I didn't like is that there were full trash bags outside the backdoor when we arrived from previous people. Maybe they could of been taken out……

“My wife and I had a nice quick weekend stay here. The house is very nice. We stayed in early April so it was a little cold for a bonfire or sitting on the deck, but the Sauna was very nice”

“The house has a quirky but charming layout that accommodates a larger group nicely. Multiple people commented on how quiet they found the bedrooms. There was plenty of seating spread across a few rooms. Fireplaces were a nice bonus. A couple of the bathrooms had awkward but workable layouts. The extensive information about the history of the home provided to guests was fun to read. The beauty of the creek and dramatic waterfalls along the trail accessible from the back yard cannot be overstated.……

“The house was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The kids loved the downstairs game room! The only thing i would suggest is to add safety bars to the bathrooms for older adults. The tub is deep and step in shower is high. Otherwise, i have nothing but good things to sag!”

“It was a cute house in Superior, just a 10 minute uber from Duluth and Canal Street. It snowed our second night, and the back step and path to the car were shoveled in the morning! Everything was clean, beds were comfortable. I think it is priced perfectly for the location and place. Would stay again :)”

“The property was beautiful and in a great location. It was easy to walk over the bridge to Canal Park and close to the beaches. It had a great layout and ease of entry/movement for a person in our group that uses a walker. It was very comfortable. It really made our stay in Duluth memorable.”

“Family members came together to celebrate our son's birthday who lives in Duluth. The owners were so responsive. We were right on the water and even though it was too chilly to get in the water, it was a lovely spot. The cottage was lovely and wonderfully decorated with every little detail considered to care for your stay. Nothing was forgotten. We loved it and would stay there again.”

“We stayed April 7-10 and came up to hang out in Duluth and run up to see some waterfalls. Brand new, squeaky clean, this unit was a treat in all respects. We stayed in 715-3, the top (3rd) floor unit in the middle building and arguably the best relatively unobstructed view (by power lines and a power pole to the left). We could see the lift bridge immediately out our window to the left, the channel, the lake, the ore boats coming and going, the surfers, not to mention spectacular sunrises.The……

“We enjoyed staying at The Mayfair house. It's in a great location, close by Glensheen and Lake Superior. Plenty of space to hang out and relax during down time.”

“Everything was clean and new. Only minor issues. Bathroom fixtures such as shower handle and towel bars were not tightened properly. The shower handle came off. Also our ground floor property had no patio furniture. Had I know I would have tried to get a second floor unit ”

“Before we even entered the rental we were enchanted with the view. Lake Superior is RIGHT THERE!! It was amazing, but of course, it got better. Entering the space (quite easily thanks to Tabitha's instructions) magnified the water view. Once we took our eyes off the view, we realized how amazing the rental space is all on its own. The layout is exactly as described in the listing. Three floors with the lower level feeling like its own private oasis as there is a door to close off from the main……
