“We couldn’t have picked a better place to have our Thanksgiving vacation! The views were amazing and there were lots of unique things to do nearby. We especially enjoyed catching “A Christmas Carol” at the Barter Theater!”

“4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful natural light and scenery from inside as we cooked and played board games in the evenings. We hiked at Grayson Highland Park, saw snow and ice and even 3 wild ponies. Then, downtown we enjoyed The Liar’s Bench , and especially the Coffee Shop. The town of Lansing is recovering beautifully and appreciating with kindness and warmth, the tourism as it returns after Helene. ”

“Nice little house on a stream. Nice white noise. Water heater is a little small and internet goes out every once in a while. Peaceful and quiet area. Old but upkept house. ”

They have sheep, pigs, bunnies, ducks made it fun to look out the window and see sheep grazing. Fresh duck eggs available the whole time. Place was very clean and had all we needed. Very homey!! I will rent again when I come back to see my brother and family. ”

“Beautiful, quiet, and private getaway on the water. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Everything in the home is very high quality and super clean. The host was quick to respond during the check in and check out process for questions. The location of this house is beautiful and makes the perfect trip if you are looking for some quiet and relaxation.”

“The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. Upon arrival, the views are stunning and my dog had a blast running around the open yard. There was a cat lounging on the deck (Not sure if it belongs to the home or a neighbor,……
