“Stay was OK. ”

“ Nice short stay. 40 min drive to Cape Town and to airport so wasn’t bad for early drive for the flight. Air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival but it was fixed for our second night. No air con was on at breakfast which would have been nice but the breakfast was nice. Didn’t stay long enough to use facilities but overall a lovely location and nicely presented hotel ”

“Lovely hotel very comfortable room and good service at Breakast. This is a lovely hotel everything was good except Sadly the people in charge were very unfriendly and made no attempt to speak with us or give help with what to do - very different to anywhere else in SA”

“Such a lovely stay that exceeded our expectations. Comfiest bed of our holiday so far too! Highly recommend the sundowner game drive and dinner, Elton is so knowledgeable abour everything! and he is a natural storyteller. The ostrich tour was fantastic too, Zenith was friendly and informative and you could tell loved the ostriches. Overall just a brilliant stay and all staff we met were helpful and friendly. Amazing views from the property too. Highly recommend staying here. ”

“Overnight stay - arrived after lunch and left before 10am. Pools were too cold to swim but looked great with lots of communal areas and fun things for kids. Restaurant closed on Tuesdays - so we walked to the nearest bar and had a few ice cold beers and 'fast food' for next to nothing. Restaurant open for breakfast - excellent service, food quality and price - we had a pancake stack (flapjacks as they call them) - delicious. Overall in need of a little refurbishment but for what we paid, and……

“The actual hotel is really very good and the rooms are outstanding. Nice grounds, nice pool and the food was also of a decent quality. Now on a road trip around South Africa, you get used to warnings about safety and taking care of belongings. Here we were welcomed with a lengthy delivery on all the steps the hotel was taking and what in turn we needed to do, which even by SA standards appeared a bit alarming, so made you think the surrounding area must be a huge 'worry'. Then we were presented……
