“This home was billed as a new listing. The communication with the property owner wasn't very good. I had to reach out to him to get the door code. There is absolutely no grass in the back yard. It's completely black dirt. The front steps were completely full of leaves. There was garbage all over in the front yard. The kitchen floor had stick down vinyl that was coming up every where. There were barely any silverware and dishes in the kitchen. There weren't any instructions anywhere in the house……

“To start, the Host was very accommodating to our schedule and we were able to start our wonderful getaway a few hours early. We arranged a time to meet and check in and he was right on time. The home was very cozy and had lots of different things for the family to do. Very peaceful location and a great view. “The location of this cabin is amazing. It is within 15 minutes of Hastings, Prescott and Afton but feels far out in the country. You can see the beautiful St Croix River through the windows and there is easy access to Afton State Park a 1/4 mile down the road. The cabin itself is quaint without many frills but has everything that is needed and the beds were very comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the week to have a time of silence and solitude.”
