“It was a nice stay overall. Excellent location where I could visits all the spots on foot. The staffs there were nice and helpful. The room was clean (just the light was a bit dim). I enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop very much. By the way, the tax charge stated on Hotel.com was incorrect MAD19.8 per person night, but turned out MAD30 instead) which made me a bit confused during check-out. Kindly amend the information. ”

“I am nearly 70 years old, I find it hard to say it out loud, I have been travelling for 50 years, I have visited maybe 80 different countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels. This is , quite simply, one of the best of them all. Can I try to explain why ? On arrival it is so unassuming; a small entrance from a busy street in the middle of the ancient Medina. A single sign, it would be easy to miss, but inside, it is like Doctor Who’s Tardis: only about 10 bedrooms arranged over four levels;……

“A pearl in the Medina indeed. A wonderful room, facing the pounding Atlantic, with easy access to all of Essaouira. The breakfast was a great start to the day. My hamman and massage -- like my wife's pedicure and facial -- were refreshing, relaxing and effective. Add the amazing staff, and we'd come here anytime Essaouira calls.”
