“The space was perfect for our multi-generational family. We had several college-age kids and teens in the bunkhouse which was a great private space for them to stay up late and sleep in away from parents and grandparents in the main house. We loved the serenity and beauty of the bay but the ability to quickly get to the big part of Woman Lake too. The dock is small and was a bit challenging for 2 boats but we made it work. We were surprised to find only silverware for about 8 when the house can……

“If anyone is looking for a peaceful "get-away", this is it! We stayed there for five nights and got to wake up in the morning to have coffee on the deck while listening to all the birds. Chris and Chelsi couldn't have been more accommodating as far as helping us with any questions prior to getting there and with our reservations. Once we got there, I was impressed with what they offered as far as amenities (I have a time share that offers far less than what they do). We spent our time out on……

“This is a special place! It’s a beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! The check in was very easy and the cabin had everything that we needed, including in the kitchen. I enjoyed taking the kayak out for an evening paddle on the smooth as glass lake and enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the loons. The little store in Laporte was close for picking up milk and sweet corn. We look forward to staying here again! ”

“The property was perfect for our family. Loved the lake! Only caution I would give is if you’re bringing a dog. The back porch they are required to stay in isn’t large enough to keep a dog. I felt awful for our lab when we had to bring him in but he was so happy majority of the time outside and swimming”

“Nice cabin. Everything was as it was listed. Very shallow beach area not good for swimming but we didn’t mind as we brought our own boat. Only downside is no real grocery stores near by. The market in town is far to expensive to try to get groceries for 8-9 people for the week ”

“We had a very nice time here. I would have to say this was the cleanest cabin i have ever stayed at. There was almost any kind of kitchen item you could imagine for cooking. It was great being so close to the lake. We enjoyed time out on the deck and being able to grill. All cabins looked occupied but you would never know it as everyone was so respectful and quiet. We would come back again.”
