“We can't say enough about staying at Gaylene's house. It's our second time back we love it so much. The kitchen is so well stocked which makes preparing big family meals a breeze. With labels on things, cleaning up the kitchen is hassle free. We enjoyed the lower deck this year on the egg swings during a rain storm. As usual, we enjoyed the boat, dock, kayaks, paddle board and hot tub. Thank you Gaylene for sharing your lovely house with us!”

“This Smoky Mountain Cabin was absolutely beautiful and very well maintained on the inside and out. The location of this cabin was in great proximity to the Smoky Mtn National Park in Deep Creek and also to the Smoky Mtn National Park at the Cherokee entrance. We would highly recommend this VRBO Cabin to anyone considering a stay in Bryson City to see the Smoky Mountains.”

“It's in a rural spot off the highway but great location for what we wanted. We visited Franklin gem mines, Cherokee, and Bryson City all within a short drive. The house was clean minus a few dust bunnies. It definitely has some wear and tear but for the cost and location I have no complaints. My only negative which I'm not sure if the home owner can even control is that the tap water smelled horrible. Bring your own drinking water. ”

“2 families with 4 sons ages (22-17). Great location- close to Bryson & Cherokee for meals & shopping. Enjoyed tubing, hiking and white water rafting. Boys played billiards everyday, we had nice fires and sat at the water’s edge. Highly recommend staying here.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the Rockhouse. The owner has done an excellent job renovating the property. We were very comfortable. The house is convenient for rafting at the NOC and for walking downtown to eat and enjoy the breweries. ”

“Very nice location , very nice house with all we needed. Host , Ted very quick in answering our question. His assistant , Crystal stop by and help us reprogram one of the TV sets back to Sat. There is some farm land in the distance as you can hear a roaster crow about 6am. Most mornings we would sitting on the porch having coffee and enjoying the scenery of tall trees and clouds moving through the mountain ridge. Had no problem with insect day or night. Had 2 deer grazing in the front yard by……

“Beautiful private property, great for a relaxing get away. Everything you need is there for you. And the host was amazing checked in several times responded with any questions that we had. It was our birthday / anniversary trip there was even a card and a little surprise on the table when we got there amazing people amazing home”

“Great area for riding the twisties. Highway is close by as well as easy access to some of the best motorcycle rides in Eastern NC. Ideal location to explore all Franklin/Highlands/Maggie Valley, etc has to offer. The house has plenty of room for 3 couples on the main floor. More beds downstairs for larger groups. Plenty of seating in living room but we loved being in the sunroom enjoying the cabin-like feel.Our host was very accessible via text. We thank him for hosting us and our 2 dogs.”
