“The cabin was clean and covered the basics. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC unit did not cool the entire house well. The bathroom in particular stayed very hot. It was okay for a quick and cheap stay, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple nights. We did enjoy the hot tub and appreciated good communication from the office when needed. ”

“Getting to the property is a bit of a challenge, narrow drive up a steep gravel incline. The cabin was awesome, very clean and well furnished. The only thing I would complain about and it's nothing the host can do about it is the loud constant highway noise from the highway below while trying to relax on the front porch”

“We had a lovely time on the Tuckasegee River, enjoyed watching the Canadian geese, mallard ducks, also watching the Tuckasegee River Excursion Train go by across the river. “The cabin was immaculate and cozy. It was nice to sit on the porch with our coffee and listen to the rain on the roof. It rained the entire time we were there, but it was so peaceful we didn't care. Our only complaint — and it's a small one — the lighting isn't great. We couldn't read in bed because there are no bedside lamps. Other than that, we loved it there and would go back.”
