“Group of extended family and friends gathered outside Houghton to visit Michigan Tech kids. Lovely winter setting, spacious for all of us. Got a lot of use out of the sauna and appreciated all of the bedrooms. This home could use a few more supplies, in the kitchen especially. We had a bit of a struggle with having enough warm water, but communication with the owner was quick to try to address it. “we stopped here on our way up from the lower peninsula to porcupine Mountain State Park. Nice little restful spot to chill out on the beach and enjoy the lake and sauna. We loved that there were paddle boards and kayaks available for us to use. Awesome sunset spot.A fire pit available, but we did not use it. but really not too loud or disturbing. Easy check-in.
