“Matt is a great host. Nice cottage with an up north feel. Kids loved the games, movies and playing by the lake. Colder temps so they couldn’t swim but just off the shore looks to be all sand.. Had a fire by the lake our second night. Definitely will return and do some fishing. Can’t beat the sunset off the lake whether your inside in the rocking chairs or sitting on the deck overlooking the lake. Great peaceful weekend! ”

“Loved this place. It's so nice that you have great views of the lake from the living area and master bedroom so it feels like "you're there" even when inside. “It was a cold and dreary weekend, but warm and cozy in front of the fireplace at this home. We had a wedding in this town and was able to visit and gather with family and friends at this home and at the wedding. Communication with host was adequate. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils and pots and pans and even a full supply of spices. There are no overhead lights in this house. More lamps, stand lights brighter lightbulbs would be helpful.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent……

“We had a wonderful and comfortable stay! All bedrooms had comfortable queen beds and all the bathrooms had everything we needed including plenty of fluffy towels, soaps and thoughtful extras. “Overall stay with great compared to the reviews I had read online. The staff was friendly. our door wouldn't unlock using our card so we had to have the concierge open the door each time but wasn't much of an issue because they were friendly and prompt about it. The only issue I had was there was no smoke detectors in the room. If there was a fire in the middle of the night we would have been dead because we would have never known. 7/10 DO recommend ”
