“Beautiful lake to look out on. We appreciated it was dog friendly! We enjoyed the sauna and it was very close to good hiking. Comfy bed! We enjoyed our stay. It is very close to the neighbors on each side but we went while still cold out so we didn’t see anyone. ”

“2 of my friends and I booked a stay here for a weekend. We spent some time in Duluth but also spent a lot of time in this home. It was comfortable, private, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful!!!! The fireplace and massage chair were an amazing touch (we didn't use the sauna since we got tattoos but love that we had the option to do so!!!). If you're looking for a place to get away and have a natural surrounding while still being very close to things, this is a great space to check out. I would……

“My fiancé and I spent a wonderful weekend here in total relaxation and peace. I couldn’t remember the last time we’d been somewhere that doesn’t have the constant subtle hum of a fridge or electricity. This cabin has everything you truly need and the hosts are so thoughtful. We felt safe, happy and proud of ourselves for the tech break! Beautiful river front and trails right in front of you. Wonderful!”

“This little spot in the woods is such a nice retreat. The lens window at the apex of the Yurt and the stove are more enjoyable than TV and the owls and grouse and nuthatches and chikadees and frogs are the best sounds for relaxing. The red squirrels were the comic relief. This year the nicer weather meant a few more ATVs on the adjacent trail but they stop when it gets dark, mostly, and the fence and tree screen make all but the noise of them easy to ignore.”

“My wife and I stayed with our son over the Easter weekend. The cabin is clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is everything you need to cook all 3 meals a day there if you wanted. The lake is only about 50 feet from the door. Sadly, it was still early in the season so it was too chilly for us to play in the lake, but I bet it's really nice in the summer. ”
