“Really great location on a pretty quiet lake. Local bar has great food including Saturday night prime rib. Beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Common space isn’t large but very well laid out to make it comfortable for a family of four. Outside space is wonderful with good privacy and Great Lake views. Roughly 50 minutes to the Superior shore and all the parks. You really feel like you’re away from it all. ”

“Excellent spot for a winter getaway with friends! We had 5 children of various ages along and they loved the secret toy closets, bubble hockey, and pinball! The hot tub works great (hot enough even in single digit outside temps) and is the cleanest we've seen at a rental. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, and everything you need is right here. ”

“Blissful!! My partner and I stayed for a weekend to see the fall colors, and although it was dreary and rainy, it was absolutely beautiful and incredibly cozy! Had everything we could need, and it was super nice to be able to unplug and truly get away, with other luxuries readily available. “Absolutely perfect stay! John and Lori were incredibly accommodating to our family during our stay at the cottage. They had an ice rink plowed, bonfire ready to light, and welcome basket in the kitchen. The cottage was so tidy and clean. There were tons of games and toys for our children to enjoy. “2 of my friends and I booked a stay here for a weekend. We spent some time in Duluth but also spent a lot of time in this home. It was comfortable, private, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful!!!! The fireplace and massage chair were an amazing touch (we didn't use the sauna since we got tattoos but love that we had the option to do so!!!). If you're looking for a place to get away and have a natural surrounding while still being very close to things, this is a great space to check out. I would……

“Very nice cabin! The neighborhood is also nice. The cabin has Wi-Fi, and smart TVs for entertainment. There are nice appliances for cooking and washer dryer for clothes. Check in was super easy. Great location, but it is a little bit of a drive to nearby drink and food. Will definitely stay again. ”

“This is an amazing Minnesota find! Our family of six found the cabin on Stone Lake to be the perfect getaway before school starts back up. We spent hours on the lake everyday with the kayaks and paddleboat, fishing for northern pike - yellow gold spinners - and cruising as we watched the loons and bald eagles. Sitting on the small dock in the light breeze was incredibly relaxing. Notable highlights - Sunrise AND Sunsets each day. We arrived on a Monday and had the entire lake to ourselves……

“Super-fun and unique house to spend a skiing long weekend! You're in a small area of woods, and you're by the slopes, and you can see the city view at night -- all of those together! Can't beat the ski-in, ski-out setup, the only such setup at Spirit Mountain. Finally, staff were uncommonly-helpful and friendly when I initially made a booking mistake and got back to me at 7 am with a corrected booking.”
