“This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! ”

“I was looking to distress, unwind, and relax in quite semi off grid place. They came through, it was a short 2 minute walk for parking the car to the cabin. Yet the location of cabin was secluded enough, you felt like you walked 10 minutes into the woods! The cabin was small and cozy, and very nice fireplace that did its job well. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to have a little frig to put my food in and a coffee pot for my morning caffeine. I took the trail from lodge to the……

“Stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time in the Amnicom river area. Beautiful hiking on the grounds from the cabin and a near drive to the Amnicom Falls State Park. Close enough to Duluth to drive in and visit as well.It was about 20-25f our entire stay and the propane heater worked really well. We had no complaints about the cabin feeling cold. The bathroom being detached from the cabin was. a bit rough in the cold but manageable.Overall it was wonderful and EXACTLY as advertised in the YouTube……

“Really great location on a pretty quiet lake. Local bar has great food including Saturday night prime rib. Beds comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Common space isn’t large but very well laid out to make it comfortable for a family of four. Outside space is wonderful with good privacy and Great Lake views. Roughly 50 minutes to the Superior shore and all the parks. You really feel like you’re away from it all. ”

“I really enjoyed this little cabin. Though i wish there was better cell phone service it was a peaceful get away. Having the beach a short mile walk away was a perk. It is slightly inconvenient to have to walk to the showers and there isnt much for privacy ”

“Excellent spot for a winter getaway with friends! We had 5 children of various ages along and they loved the secret toy closets, bubble hockey, and pinball! The hot tub works great (hot enough even in single digit outside temps) and is the cleanest we've seen at a rental. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, and everything you need is right here. ”

“Blissful!! My partner and I stayed for a weekend to see the fall colors, and although it was dreary and rainy, it was absolutely beautiful and incredibly cozy! Had everything we could need, and it was super nice to be able to unplug and truly get away, with other luxuries readily available. I couldn’t remember the last time we’d been somewhere that doesn’t have the constant subtle hum of a fridge or electricity. This cabin has everything you truly need and the hosts are so thoughtful. “Absolutely perfect stay! John and Lori were incredibly accommodating to our family during our stay at the cottage. They had an ice rink plowed, bonfire ready to light, and welcome basket in the kitchen. The cottage was so tidy and clean. There were tons of games and toys for our children to enjoy. “2 of my friends and I booked a stay here for a weekend. We spent some time in Duluth but also spent a lot of time in this home. It was comfortable, private, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful!!!! The fireplace and massage chair were an amazing touch (we didn't use the sauna since we got tattoos but love that we had the option to do so!!!). “Super-fun and unique house to spend a skiing long weekend! You're in a small area of woods, and you're by the slopes, and you can see the city view at night -- all of those together! Can't beat the ski-in, ski-out setup, the only such setup at Spirit Mountain. Finally, staff were uncommonly-helpful and friendly when I initially made a booking mistake and got back to me at 7 am with a corrected booking.”
