“I was up there for a photo trip and found this location was centrally located for many great photo spots in the MN and WI area. The property is actually nicer than the photos show especially the exterior photos. The Interior photos are accurate. “2 of my friends and I booked a stay here for a weekend. We spent some time in Duluth but also spent a lot of time in this home. It was comfortable, private, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful!!!! “This little spot in the woods is such a nice retreat. The lens window at the apex of the Yurt and the stove are more enjoyable than TV and the owls and grouse and nuthatches and chikadees and frogs are the best sounds for relaxing. The red squirrels were the comic relief. This year the nicer weather meant a few more ATVs on the adjacent trail but they stop when it gets dark, mostly, and the fence and tree screen make all but the noise of them easy to ignore.”

“My wife and I stayed with our son over the Easter weekend. The cabin is clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is everything you need to cook all 3 meals a day there if you wanted. The lake is only about 50 feet from the door. Sadly, it was still early in the season so it was too chilly for us to play in the lake, but I bet it's really nice in the summer. ”

“The house is just off the road but you'd never know it while you are there. This peaceful, cozy home is a perfect place to disconnect. Lots of space to spread out or gather together.
