“We were happy to get the cabin at Camp Amnicon and had no problems during our stay. It is the off season and the weather was cool and we had a couple of rainy spells, but we hiked and watched birds each day in spite of the weather. Hiking to the Lake Superior beach was enjoyable. We had no problem carting our gear in to the "walk in" cabin. Numerous hikes, state parks, and birdwatching sites are a short drive away. Birdwatching from the cabin was productive and interesting. “It was the perfect place for old camp cabin mates to share time together. Amenities were great. One bathroom so you need to plan a little… location was so great!! ”

“We wanted to take a quick weekend trip to Duluth and we found this cabin. We loved it! Our dog came with and made friends with the neighbor’s dog. The lake was beautiful and we loved walking down the gravel street! The owner and maintenance person responded very quickly.”

“Beautiful lake to look out on. We appreciated it was dog friendly! We enjoyed the sauna and it was very close to good hiking. Comfy bed! We enjoyed our stay. It is very close to the neighbors on each side but we went while still cold out so we didn’t see anyone. ”

“I was up there for a photo trip and found this location was centrally located for many great photo spots in the MN and WI area. The property is actually nicer than the photos show especially the exterior photos. The Interior photos are accurate. It’s a cozy place as described, the deck with a small table is a great addition and was perfect. Having a fire pit was perfect as well and was great for evening comfort and entertainment. “The property was well cared for and had everything we needed. Loved the screened porch! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and the space was plenty roomy for us. The beach area was clean, water very clear. The kids had a blast jumping off the pier and raft! Booking, check in were seamless. ”
