“Pretty scenery but difficult to navigate. ”

“This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! ”

“I was looking to distress, unwind, and relax in quite semi off grid place. They came through, it was a short 2 minute walk for parking the car to the cabin. Yet the location of cabin was secluded enough, you felt like you walked 10 minutes into the woods! The cabin was small and cozy, and very nice fireplace that did its job well. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to have a little frig to put my food in and a coffee pot for my morning caffeine. I took the trail from lodge to the……

“Stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time in the Amnicom river area. Beautiful hiking on the grounds from the cabin and a near drive to the Amnicom Falls State Park. Close enough to Duluth to drive in and visit as well.It was about 20-25f our entire stay and the propane heater worked really well. We had no complaints about the cabin feeling cold. The bathroom being detached from the cabin was. a bit rough in the cold but manageable.Overall it was wonderful and EXACTLY as advertised in the YouTube……

“Peaceful and quiet area with the convenience of Duluth being a short drive away. Beautiful site and we were able to spend lots of quality time with our group! ”

“I really enjoyed this little cabin. Though i wish there was better cell phone service it was a peaceful get away. Having the beach a short mile walk away was a perk. It is slightly inconvenient to have to walk to the showers and there isnt much for privacy ”

“Excellent spot for a winter getaway with friends! We had 5 children of various ages along and they loved the secret toy closets, bubble hockey, and pinball! The hot tub works great (hot enough even in single digit outside temps) and is the cleanest we've seen at a rental. Kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfy, and everything you need is right here. ”
