“My wife and I went on a trip to hike several trails around Garrett County and the house was a perfect location for our trip. We enjoyed the hot tub after our hikes.”

“We really enjoyed our stay, very few complaints.The tap water has a strong rust smell & taste, which is common when on a well, but a couple of gallons of Spring water would be great! There were only three of us, so we each had our own bedroom, one of my criteria. Next trip to Ohiopyle, would probably go with something smaller. My son is planning a gathering of friends and is going to consider this property.”

“Perfect for those traveling with a small group. The view from the front porch was very nice, other than 1 small home across the street no other buildings in your field of view, just a green field and trees on a mountain ridge. The only real problem was the hot tub didn’t work. The owners sent a technician out quickly but unfortunately the part required would take several days to arrive so the whole week we had no hot tub. Otherwise I would’ve given everything 5 stars. I asked for a partial……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cottage! The home was well kept and clean. We utilized the spacious kitchen for cooking meals and it had everything we needed. The hot tub was the highlight! It was in good working order and hot when we arrived. The host even topped off the water for us during our stay upon our request! The cottage was conveniently located to Ohiopyle and the towns close by. We also loved that it was dog friendly and would definitely recommend!”

“Beauyifully nestled in a great location close ti the state park. Gorgeous cabin with charming details have you feeling relaxed as soon as you step in! Adventurous weekend just staying at the cabin amd campfire cooking. The babbling crick makes a good addition to the back deck coffee breaks. We voth enjoyed ourselves and the one on one together. Will be back again for certain! The construction of these cabins is stunning. Perfect fairy tail weekend. Hated leaving! Host had the place so clean,……

“Overall, a very nice place to stay. The bed was a bit low and uncomfortable. And the coffee maker wouldn't work But now I'm just being nit-picky.”

“Great place but was not aware the of how close the other houses were. The cabin behind us which was called "exceeds expectations" was very loud playing music until 3 am. We were not happy about that. Other than that, it was a nice place. Enjoyed the hot tub!”

“All the comforts of home were there for our stay, didn't have to worry about anything. This place is a number one place for us to pick when visiting here in Morgantown from now on. Close enough to town yet it was very quiet. Property manager was very understanding when we had to change our dates. Communication was great...well on their part I texted some stranger on check out. Very clean and more than enough room for my wife and I.”

“Nice , 4 bedroom house right on the lake. Washer/dryer was good. Fireplace was nice on cold days. Full kitchen was supplied with all needed utensils. Beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked. Different floor levels were a little cumbersome to get used to. Overall a nice, comfortable stay!”

“We had a wonderful family ski trip at Wisp and stayed here (just a few minutes away) for a long weekend. Very clean, cozy, and welcoming home with fantastic communication from the host. We would absolutely recommend and would be happy to stay here again!”

“Pros: Good location, quiet neighborhood with lots of deer, nice supply of start-up toiletries. Partial A/C was enough to keep house cool during heatwave. Comfortable master bed with its own A/C vent. Cons: Need a 4-wheel drive to navigate some steeple crush & run roads. House has small water tank, and owner wants renters to wait 30 minutes between shower use. Kitchen is very bare bones - bring your own cleaning supplies, foil, very few pans. Some safety concerns if need to take your pet outside……

“The location of this property, right beside a picturesque little creek, is perfect. We stayed with friends during a snowy long weekend. The house was nice and warm despite the cold and snowy weather. One thing to note is that the bedrooms have low ceilings, so people who are tall should be aware. ”
